Happy Wednesday, the work week is half over!! Today we are sharing a bit of our weekend attire. More often than not, on Saturdays we make the walk from our apartment in East Village to the Little Italy Farmers Market. Normally, I’m not a huge fan of leggings. It’s close to impossible to find a pair that fits just right, but I do have this pair and I love them! On lazy fall Saturdays, they’re perfect for pairing with a simple patterned t-shirt, tennis shoes, and maybe a light jacket.
Now that it’s October, most of the US is enjoying cool, crisp fall weather. Southern California is still pretty warm most days, so on the rare occasion that we get treated to some chillier, more overcast weather, I take advantage of it with some light layering.
I’m the type of person that wears strips almost everyday. Every store that I go in I’m attracted to black and white tees, because in my mind you can never have to many. Josh disagrees with this fact strongly, I’m working hard on disproving this fact. So for fall I thought that I would try to change it up just a bit and go with a darker striped tee.
The denim jacket I’m wearing here is from Old Navy, I’m wearing a small for reference. If you’re in the market for a light, versatile jacket, but are on a budget, Old Navy’s denim jackets are cute, lightweight pieces that pair well with most outfits without breaking the bank.
The Kate Spade Cedar Street Small Hayden is the prefect size bag for me. I’m not a huge “throw everything in my bag” type of person (more often than not its just my wallet, phone, and a lipstick). Josh is an even bigger fan of cooler weather than I am. He started wearing long sleeves and pants again as soon as the temperature started to drop. The shirt he’s in here is a simple long sleeve tee from Topman. It’s comfortable and great for layering, and has a great slim fit to it.
