It’s the weekend and and there’s no better way to kickoff the weekend than with some new makeup. I love getting Ipsy every month, it’s always a great deal and excellent way to try out new beauty brands and products. They included some great products this month. I enjoy they always give you travel size products because it’s not something I remember to buy when I pack for travel. I recently took a trip to San Francisco (part 1 and part 2) and most of the skincare products that I pack come from past Ipsy bags.
24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion by Urban Decay
These days I don’t reach for pencil eyeliner too often and when I do it’s a liquid eyeliner so I create the prefect cat eye. Therefore I won’t get to much use out of this eyeliner, but I will use it on the occasion. This is a great eyeliner and when I want a pencil eyeliner this will be the eyeliner that I reach for. I have got this eyeliner this a few years ago in a bag and remember really loving it compared to other eyeliners I’ve used.
Deluxe Lifted Sweatproof Mascara by Tarte
This is great little mascara, it gives you a very natural look. For someone that has blonde eyelashes, sometimes when I got out I just want a little color on my eyelashes. This will be a great mascara for that. I’ve recently picked up the Better Than Sex mascara, which is gives you lots of thickness. There are several days where I layer mascara and I will use this under the Better Than Sex because it separates and lengthens each eyelash.
Eyebrow Pencil in Blonde by Chella
Because I have bangs, I didn’t do my brows too often. However, over the past few months I have started to do my eyebrows more. I’ve gotten to the point where I look at myself and when I don’t have eyebrow product on I feel weird about it. When I first started to use this product it was very wax heavy. After getting through the first few strokes the product is much easier to use but it still is a bit waxy.
Trick and Treat Cream Concealer by Hey Honey
There are many days where the only makeup that I put on is some concealer and mascara and this concealer is great for just those days. Most days I reach for Tarte Shape Tape, however that is a full coverage concealer. This concealer has amino acids, Vitamin E and nourishing oils which makes it great for those light makeup days. I’ve tried many skincare products from Hey Honey before and loved every one of them, so I excited to start trying some of their makeup products.
Mask by Blaq
As I write this post I have this mask on my face. When I first put it on get a big whiff of perfume, which I was not a fan of. However after a minute this smell dissipates. This is a charcoal peel off mask and most of the masks that I buy are charcoal masks to help clear up my skin. So I’m excited to try this out a few more times and see if it improves my skin. This mask did a great job of getting a bunch gunk out of my pores.
