October is complete without some pumpkins. Most years growing up my family would get together and we would all carve pumpkins. Josh never carved a pumpkin until we started dating!! Which is just crazy. So this year I wanted to take him to a pumpkin patch because he’s never visited and there are some many in Tennessee, trying to find a pumpkin patch that was an hour away from where we live in San Diego was a bit difficult. But I found this small local patch about 15 minutes outside downtown and thought that we’d check it out.

It’s been super hot here in San Diego all of October (the high the next couple of days is in the 90’s), so I’ve still be dressing for summer. Josh on the other hand starts complaining about early October that he wants to wear sweaters and then starts dresses for the seasons. He picked up this sweater for Iron and Resin while we were up in San Francisco a few weeks ago. He has been wearing it every change he gets. The dress I picked up from JCrew Factory maybe a year or two ago. I really enjoy it because it’s a bit of thicker material so you can wear it when it gets a bit colder, but with the weather still being in the upper 80’s most days right now. I don’t get to hot in this dress. Because I picked up this dress a while ago they don’t sell it but this dress is made of the same material.
That is quite the fabulous outfit for the pumpkin patch! It is so wet here in Seattle I don’t dare go unless wearing rain boots and old jeans since we always come home covered in mud!

Thank! We’re lucky to live in San Diego right now, where it barely rains.
