November Ipsy Bag

I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend, I know we did. My mom was visiting for two weeks, so I had a bit of an extended holiday. We ate too much food, drank a little too much, and enjoyed a lazy weekend. I love the direction that Ipsy has been headed the past few months. I love it when I get products that I see in Ulta and Sephora, because those are the stores that I buy most of my makeup and skincare products. This way I get to try out products that I have been thinking about buying for myself. This month’s bag has so really great products overall.

HD Perfecting Powder by Manna Kadar
I love a good setting powder, you can never have too many right? I have tried several face products from this company and they never disappoint. They aren’t my most reached for products but they always do a great job. This setting powder does a great job at setting concealer from creasing more. Will it replace my go too setting powders, no. But I will still you use it, I prefer a loose powder to set my foundation and concealer most of the time anyways.

Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream by IT Cosmetics
I got so excited when I saw this was in my bag, this is the foundation that I use on a daily basis. So I already knew that I loved it! Plus it’s great to have a tiny travel size for short weekend trips. The thing that I love the most about this product is that is has skin care properties in the foundation along with SPF, which is great for the sunny days in San Diego. When I wear this foundation I tend to skip the primer because you don’t need it with this. The CC+ foundation has helped with preventing additional breakouts and keeping my skin clear.

They’re Real Mascara by Benefit Cosmetics
Ipsy bags always keeps me in stock with mascaras. I love getting travel sizes because I know they won’t dry up by the time I get around to finishing a tube. This mascara by Benefit is one of my top five mascaras that I love to use. I have gotten this before in a Ipsy bag, a few years ago, which is how I discovered this products. It’s a great mascara and really lifts, fills out my eyelashes.

Tapered Highlighting Brush by SLMISSGLAM
I have been wanted a brush like this for a few months now. I keep seeing everyone use this tapered style brush to highlight with. I almost never buy brushes for myself anymore (I always get so many in Ipsy and Boxycharm), so I got super excited when I saw this was in my bag this month. It’s a wonderful brush for applying highlighter and I see why everyone has been using it now!

Age Prevention Cleanser by Youth to the People
I have seen mixed reviews online about this product. I have yet to try it out, but I am excited to try it. I know that certain people have had breakouts after using this product, which is why I have been hesitant to use it yet. (I have been using facial peel wipes in the evening this month, trying to clear up my dark marks.) So I haven’t been introducing new facial products until that was over. I have been wanted to try out this cleanser since it was released.

Hypnose Drama Mascara by Lancome
When you review products on the Ipsy website you get points and can redeem them for products, which is how I got this mascara. I had some points that were going to expire in mid-October. So I redeemed my points and forgot about it when my box came it. This is a great mascara, I don’t think that I would ever splurge on the full size, but I love using this sample size. I love how big the wand is, it gives you such great full lashes.
