San Diego Winter

Welcome 2018, Josh and I are back in San Diego after a 10 day trip to Tennessee to visit our families of the New Year. It’s always so fun visiting everyone back home. When we visit Knoxville it’s always a little crazy trying to visit 30 people in three days, the perk of coming from a big family. We rang in the New Year at cabin in Gatlinburg with my family. Every trip that we take back to Tennessee we always try to get some blog work done, but always end up spending our time catching up with everyone instead. It’s so nice to come back and get back in full force though. This year is going to be a big year for us, we are moving to Naples, Italy in late April. So the next few months are going to be spent making sure that we have everything lined up that we need for the big move. We are both excited to move to Europe and travel to every city we possible can.

After spending 10 days in 25 degree weather or colder, it’s so nice to be back in San Diego where is spring weather year around. In Tennessee both Josh and I stayed bundled up the whole time because of the cold weather. While we were wearing clothes a bit warmer than in this post, this is my San Diego go to winter outfit. I love that I can start pulling out my sweaters and wear an over coat at the same time. If you know anything about San Diego weather it stays sunny and 70 most of the year. So when to it drops around 50 degrees, Josh and I get so happy because we miss those Tennessee winters from time to time.

I love wearing this combo because both the sweater and coat are light weight which makes them prefect for the San Diego weather. I’ve picked up these pieces over the past few years so they are for sale any more, but theres lots of options very similar available.
