January Boxy Charm

How are we half way through January already? This past few weeks are flow by, Josh and I haven’t been post as much these past few weeks because we were traveling, then straightening out our apartment for the New Year. 2018 is going to be a big year for us and we are going to have lots of amazing content coming your way in late Spring. So get excited!!

My Boxy Charm came in over the weekend and I was so excited because their are some great products that came in. After receiving last months box I was feeling a bit discouraged, but Boxy Charm stepped it up this month and made up for the dud that was December’s box. I have already played around a lot with these products and quickly integrated some into my everyday makeup. There are some great company’s that are in this months box!

PORES NO MORE LUMINIZER PRIMER BY DR BRANDT
I have been wanting to try this primer for a while now. When I saw that it was in this months box I got pretty excited. I have been on the hunt for a new primer because I’m almost out of what I have been using. I feel in love with this primer the moment that I used it. The Pores No More does a great job at making your makeup last all day long. I wore this yesterday for the first time and my foundation lasted longer than it normally does.

BROW POWER BY IT COSMETICS
It Cosmetics is in my top favorite make up brands. I use their CC+ everyday, I have used their Brow Power before and it’s such a great product. This is a universal product that works on all skin tones. Based on the pressure that you use to apply this product you will get a darker tone from the product. This Brow Power has a great shape which makes it quick and easy to apply your brows.

GLAM METALS PALETTE BY CROWN PRO
We have been getting lots of Crown products this past year in Boxy Charm, I was unaware that they made makeup products. This palette has some great eyeshadows in it. But it is a palette that you need additional eye shadows with. There isn’t a good transition tone in this palette. The colors that are in this palette are amazingly pigmented, however there is a bit of fallout with the center row of shadows.

BRONZE AND BRIGHTEN CHEEK PALETTE BY PUR
This products have such high pigment. After I swatched the blush I got a little scared to put this on my cheeks. I used a light hand when applying it and it has such a beautiful color to it. The highlighter is amazing as well, you can quickly get a high pigment highlight from this product. The only product I’m not super crazy about is the bronzer because it has some simmer in it. So it’s not a product that I would want to on it’s own. I use a little bit over another matte bronzer and got a beautiful color that way.

MATTE LIP PAINT BY GIRLACTIK
I am a big fan of liquid lips, it’s what I wear most of the time. This product did not disappoint. I have heard of Girlactik before, but I’ve never tried anything from their brand. After using this product I quickly feel in love with the formula. It’s such a creamy product that doesn’t dry out your lips, which is what I love in a liquid lip.
