January is a tough month for many. Those post holiday blues, getting back in the routine of work, eating healthy and working out. Josh and I aren’t doing any crazy diets. We are cutting out pizza and pasta for a month, the holiday foods defiantly got the best of us. Along with cutting out a bit of alcohol, we usually unwind at the end of the day with a local beer while watching the nightly news. Starting January 1st I have started introducing meat back into my diet after being a pescatarian for 12 years. You may ask why, well it’s pretty simple. We are moving to Europe in the late Spring and I want to able to enjoy more foods while we are living there. We have also started a stricter workout routine. Every time we go to the gym, we work out for 30 minutes or so and I’m always at a lost of what to do. So I download the Sweat app and started the BBG workout routine. So far I’m enjoying it and I can already tell a difference after just over a week.
I have been taking January a bit slower than I normally do because I know once February hits our lives are going to get a bit crazy. Therefore I’m enjoying a bit more down town than I normally take for myself. While I’m super excited about this move, I’m not the best at handling change. I have gotten better since we moved out to San Diego. Josh and I have been taking little trips to some of our favorite places around San Diego to make sure that we check everything off our list that we want to before we leave this beautiful city.
