It’s the weekend! Josh and I are on a trip around Tennessee visiting family and friends for the next few weeks before we officially board the plane and fly out to Naples, Italy. If you don’t know my husband and I are moving to Italy at the end of the this month for his job. Last week we packed up our apartment and are currently living out of suitcases for potentially up to three months. Knowing that we were going to live out of suitcases for a while, I started thinking about what I wanted to pack. I spent more time that I’d like to admit thinking about what I was going to bring with me, so about a week before we left, I decided to build a capsule wardrobe. I quickly turned to Pinterest to get some ideas about how to build a capsule wardrobe and I’m sharing what I decided to pack for three months of clothes.
One of the things that I had to keep in mind was that I needed a wardrobe for April to June, in which the weather transitions quite a bit. Therefore I need to make sure that I had a few long sleeves and a few sleeveless tops. Plus if you’re familiar with Tennessee weather at all, it can go from 75 degrees one day and 45 two days later (which has already happened in the week that we’ve been here).
So this is what I’ve come up with for three months out of suitcase, plus of course some workout clothes and pajamas. Thus far, I’ve really enjoying it I spend less time trying to figure out what I’m going to wear. Have you guys created a capsule wardrobe before? if so, share any tips or tricks in the comments!
