Basic Madewell Tee

Happy Monday, Josh and I have been in Tennessee for week visiting our families. Our first stop was Knoxville to drop off our cat at my moms, where he’ll be staying while we are in Tennessee. Our first stop in Knoxville was to go downtown, over the past few years when we come back to visit, Market Square and downtown has been our favorite place to visit. Some of my favorite Knoxville Eateries are in Market Square, plus it’s a great area to walk around and check some of the new places that have opened since our last visit.

I’m an avid lover of tees and I have built up quite the collection. I love the simplicity of putting on a tee everyday and dressing them up with these striped trouser. To keep the comfort of an outfit is important to me, especially during month of travel that we are embarking on right now.  These striped trousers I picked up at thrift store a few months ago while we were in LA, and quickly became a favorite. I’ve wore then in a few of the past blog posts because I love them that much. For the past several years unless I was headed to work, I’ve always reached for a pair of jeans most everyday. At the beginning of the year I set out to pick up a few pair of cropped trousers and these one of the pair that I picked up. Similar options here and here. After discovering Madewell, I quickly became obsessed and want to buy everything in their store. When Josh and I were in Nordstrom Rack on day, I ran across a Madewell selection and quickly picked up a few clothing items. This tee being one, it’s such a cozy tee that can be dressed up or down. Which I always love when I’m getting new clothes. My scarf I’m wearing is also from Madewell, which is my favorite store to pick up neck scarves.
