Happy Friday! Summer is officially here as of this weekend, which means that it’s time for all those shorts to come out. Memorial Day weekend is upon us. The local pools open up, the summer sales beginning, vacations are planned and cook out are in full force. Summer is one of the most fun seasons and I love everything that goes along with summer. Comfort is the most import of it all. At the beginning for every summer I always pick up a new pair of blue jean shorts that I end up spending all summer in. Of course when it comes to pants I always reach for my Levi’s 721, which are amazing if only they came in a shorts version.
I have been on the hunt for a pair of shorts this summer for a few months now. I walked out of many stores looking for a pair of jeans shorts too many times to count. But I finally found this summers pair of jeans and to my surprise their Billabong. Last year I picked up a pair of ASOS mom jeans, I love them, however they are non stretch denim and I can’t spend a whole day in them (plus they are packed up in all our stuff somewhere on their way in Italy). These jeans don’t have that problem! My shirt and shoes (similar) are Madewell and if you haven’t gotten anything from Madewell before you need to change that soon. After picking up a few different items from them the last few year, they quickly became made their way to the top of my favorite clothing brands. Josh is very jealous that they don’t make mens clothes.
